A few days ago, my squad and I were informed that we will no longer be traveling to Bolivia. This is due to the political unrest and violence that is rising due to disagreements between the government and the people.
Today my squad and I spent the whole day taking turns interceding for Bolivia and lifting them up into The Lord’s hands.
While I am sad that I won’t be able to travel to Bolivia, and also heartbroken at the things they are experiencing, I have peace about the decision to stay in Peru for another month. I know that God’s hand is in the situation. I also know that staying was the right decision for our own safety.
However, those in Bolivia are still in need of prayer. I ask that you join my squad and I as we continue to pray for Bolivia throughout the month and also pray that we will have great attitudes and open hands to what the Lord wants to do through a second month in Peru.
My team will be working in Huaraz for the month. We leave tomorrow to fly from Cusco to Lima and then hop on a bus to Huaraz. Please pray for safe travels as well!
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me.
I’m so glad that they are making sure you are in a safe place!! I’ve really
enjoyed reading your blogs! I’ll always be praying for you and your team!
How is PJ? I hope she’s not falling apart. A full moon is coming soon.
Love you and miss you!
Good decision regarding Bolivia. Pls put Jeff Hause on your prayer list as he is one of our long-time missionaries in Bolivia. He wrote of the unrest and asked us to pray for him and his team in Santa Cruz area.
Love you Kaci and I’m praying for you and your team!
Hi Aunt Leslie, I wanted to let you know that I did indeed pray for your friend Jeff, that you know in Bolivia and will continue to do so.
Hi Just Gramma!!
I just tried to FaceTime with you and couldn’t get ahold of you. Hopefully soon. PJ is doing great and I’m so happy I brought her along. I did have to sew her cheek up but she’s all good 🙂
I’ll be looking out for the full moon! Hopefully I see it and it isn’t covered by clouds. Love you and miss you!!
I love how you all responded to the change of plans! I know you were disappointed that you would miss getting to be in Bolivia. And then you all turned to earnest intercession for all the people in Bolivia! May God bless you with 11 countries despite this unexpected turn of events!
